my religion

my parents were Catholic, but i was raised Protestant. our church has no denomination, so any beliefs i hold probably cater to all. please do not classify me as one "type of person"; if anything annoys me, it's the way people pay more attention to their differences than their likenesses.
i believe this world exists because God made it. it's not a matter of probability--in which case there would be no right answer, because everyone's view of logic differs.
i believe because i have the choice to. it happens to make the most sense in this world to me. if you don't want to believe it, that's fine by me. but don't argue your beliefs versus mine. i don't need to prove anything to anyone, and i'd rather live without meaningless debates.
i've met more people in this world who don't believe in God, and the better half of them don't insult him or me. i do hold a higher respect for those with an open mind, but i'm just as tolerant of those who live outrightly against my morals.

if you want to talk ethics, dreams, and philosophy, feel free. if you want to argue atheist-vs.-other, you're not welcome.
